Reminding men that they are alive, Memento vivere is formed from the Latin phrase Memento mori. For man, spiritual and creative creature, living means to create, to do something that will stay in the memory. The title is taken from Ivan Franko’s poem, considered one of Ukraine’s most important literary figures. A very prolific writer, poet, publicist. It is a Latin phrase that has several meanings or translations, among them “Reminder of life,” “Remember you live,” and “Remember that you have to live.”
